Menu labels vary between clients. This guide uses general terms such as “configuration,” “subscription,” and “connect.” The actual buttons may say “Manage Configurations,” “Import from URL,” or “Update Subscription.” Follow the dashboard instructions and the labels in your client; you don’t need to find an exact match. For your first setup, focus on importing the subscription and connecting. There’s no need to adjust advanced settings yet.
Create an account and open the dashboard
Use the “Try it free” link below to open the VPNPJ account creation page in the user dashboard. VPNPJ doesn’t require an email address; enter a username and password to create an account. You’ll use the username to sign in later, so choose one that’s easy to remember and doesn’t reveal sensitive personal information. Store your password securely and don’t reuse it on other sites. Before submitting, check your entries, especially for extra spaces or changes in capitalization caused by your input method.
When you’re done, follow the page instructions to open the user dashboard. If you’re taken to a sign-in page, use the username and password you just saved. Once you can open the account overview, account setup is complete. Next, choose a plan and get a subscription before connecting a client. The dashboard and this guide serve different purposes: this page explains the steps, while the dashboard handles orders, clients, and subscription delivery.
Keep this page open while you complete the next steps in the dashboard. When you switch devices later, use the same account to access the dashboard; you don’t need a separate account for each device. VPNPJ supports unlimited simultaneous devices, but you’ll need to install a suitable client and import your subscription configuration on each one.
Choose a plan and review your order
Open the plans section in the dashboard and decide whether you need ongoing or occasional access. Monthly subscriptions suit regular use: ¥9.9/month includes 60GB, ¥18/month includes 250GB, and ¥28/month includes 500GB. Data resets monthly on your activation date, not at the start of each calendar month. If you’re unsure how much you’ll use, choose based on your current needs and check your actual usage in the dashboard.
If your usage varies, compare the data packages: ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. Data packages remain valid until used and never expire. The main difference from a monthly subscription is how you use the data, so don’t judge by the payment amount alone. Video, file transfers, and everyday browsing can use very different amounts of data; choose based on your habits.
After choosing a plan, check the plan name, amount due, and data allowance on the order page. Then follow the instructions to pay with Alipay, WeChat Pay, or USDT. Return to the dashboard after payment and confirm that your order and plan status have updated. If the external payment page shows that payment is complete but the dashboard hasn’t updated yet, refresh the order status or reopen the overview first. Don’t pay again right away.
VPNPJ offers a 14-day no-questions-asked refund. See the Terms of Service for details on how to request one. If you upgrade a monthly subscription mid-cycle, the price difference is converted into remaining days. Check your order and dashboard for the status after upgrading. Once your plan is active, continue to the next step to get your subscription; this helps avoid mistaking an inactive configuration for a connection problem.
Get your subscription link from the dashboard
Open the account overview and check your plan status and remaining data before finding the subscription section. The subscription link lets your client retrieve available server configurations. It isn’t a website address for everyday browsing or a client installer. If the dashboard offers an import option for your client, use that first; otherwise, copy a compatible subscription link to paste into the client later.
When you use the dashboard’s import option, your browser may ask whether to open an app. This means the system is ready to hand the configuration to your client. You can continue only on a device with the client installed. If nothing happens after you click, install and open the client, then return to the dashboard and try again, or copy the link manually. Avoid clicking import repeatedly, as this can create duplicate configurations that are hard to tell apart.
To copy the link manually, use the dashboard’s copy function so you don’t accidentally select only part of it. After pasting, check that the beginning and end are intact and that no explanatory text or line breaks were added. You can give the configuration an easy-to-recognize name, such as “VPNPJ everyday server,” to make it easier to switch and manage later. Use the link only in your own client. Don’t post it in public forums or paste it into unfamiliar online conversion tools.
Your subscription link is a configuration credential. This page doesn’t display real subscription addresses. When reporting a problem, you can describe the error message, but hide the link and account details in screenshots. If you think the link has been exposed, check whether the dashboard offers a reset option or request help through a dashboard ticket.
Import into a client for your platform
Sign in and open the clients section of the dashboard to get the VPNPJ client for your device. Read the installation instructions for your platform. You need a network client that can import subscription configurations, not a browser extension or bookmark tool. Follow the dashboard’s guidance for the download source and import format; don’t switch software just to match a particular tutorial.
Windows: Add a subscription in configuration management
Install and open the Windows desktop client provided in the dashboard. Go to configuration or subscription management and look for the option to add a configuration from a link. Paste the subscription link you copied, enter a name that’s easy to recognize, then save and update. If you used the dashboard’s app import option, check that the new configuration has arrived in the client before continuing.
After a successful import, the configuration page should show an entry, and the proxy or server page should list locations. Select the configuration you just imported, then choose a server. Saving the link without loading the server list doesn’t mean the import is complete. For your first connection, enable the system proxy or the relevant connection toggle as described by the client. If your system asks for permission, check the app’s source before allowing it.
macOS: Check the active configuration after importing
Get the macOS desktop client from the dashboard. Open configuration management from the app window or menu bar. Choose the relevant option, such as Add Subscription or Import from URL, then paste the link and update. If your browser has already sent the subscription to the client, just check that the new entry appears; don’t add the same subscription again manually.
On macOS, the connection toggle may be in the menu bar while subscription management is in a separate window. Select the VPNPJ configuration in the configuration window, then choose a server and connect from the connection menu. If the system asks to allow network configuration, follow the dashboard and client instructions to grant permission. When you’re done, check the client status; a dismissed system prompt doesn’t necessarily mean you’re connected.
Android: Add a subscription and allow the network connection
Get the Android client from the dashboard and install it as instructed. Open the client, go to the configuration list, add a configuration, and choose Import from subscription link. Paste the link, save, and update. Then set the new configuration as the active one. If the clipboard contents change when you switch apps after copying the link, copy it again from the dashboard rather than trying to retype it from memory.
Choose a location on the server page and connect. Android may show a system VPN connection request; this is the system confirmation the client needs to establish a network connection. Check the app and follow the prompt. After connecting, keep the client running and switch to your browser to verify access. If the connection only works while you’re back in the client, check your system’s background activity and battery management settings. For details, see the user guide.
iOS: Get a compatible client using the dashboard instructions
On your iPhone or iPad, open the clients section of the dashboard and follow the iOS instructions to get a compatible subscription client from the App Store. Availability, installation requirements, and any app charges depend on the relevant store listing. The VPNPJ plan price doesn’t include every third-party app. Once the app is installed, return to the dashboard and use the matching import option.
To import manually, look for the option to add a link on the client’s configuration or subscription page. Paste the subscription link and update. Once the location list has loaded, choose a server and turn on the connection. When iOS first asks whether to add a VPN configuration, follow the prompt to confirm, then return to the app to check the connection status. Adding a configuration and connecting successfully are separate steps; continue with the access check below.
VPNPJ also supports Linux. Linux users can find the relevant client and configuration instructions from the same dashboard entry. You don’t need to set up command-line tools or system services for your first connection. If the format isn’t compatible or the configuration won’t update, first check that you selected the right subscription format, then read the import and connection instructions in the user guide.
Connect to a server and verify it works
Select the VPNPJ configuration in your client, open the server list, choose a location that meets the target service’s requirements, and connect. Keep things simple for your first check: use the mode recommended by the client and avoid changing advanced settings such as split tunneling, network routing, or DNS at the same time. Multiple network clients can interfere with one another, so pause other connection tools while testing to make the results easier to interpret.
First, check that the client shows a connected status. Then open your browser and visit the international site you want to use. If the page loads, open the app you actually need and test it there too, such as loading an AI tool’s chat page and sending a routine test message. Browser access confirms only that the browser’s connection path works; desktop apps may use different network settings, so check access within the app itself.
If the client says you’re connected but the target service still reports a region or account restriction, don’t assume your subscription has failed. Your network route, the platform’s regional policies, and your account permissions are separate factors. First check that your selected exit location meets the service’s requirements, then follow the platform’s guidance. VPNPJ provides network connectivity; it doesn’t grant account eligibility or paid access on other platforms. For server selection tips for AI tools, see the AI Tools guide.
If you can’t access anything, revisit the steps you’ve already completed: check that your plan is active, you have data remaining, the subscription can update, and the correct configuration is selected. Once those are confirmed, try switching servers and reconnecting. Change one thing at a time and note the result; this makes it easier to find the cause than changing several settings at once. If access still doesn’t work, use a dashboard ticket to share your device platform, the client’s message, and the steps you’ve tried. Hide your subscription link before sharing screenshots.
Once the app you need works, you’ve completed the main steps in this guide. To refresh the server list later, update the subscription in your client. Manage renewals, plan changes, and data usage in the user dashboard. When you switch devices, repeat the client import steps. For ongoing maintenance, split tunneling, or more complex issues, see the complete user guide. You don’t need to learn every advanced setting for your first connection.
